A Brooklyn barbershop with a different kind of chair
Adrian Fanus picked up his first clippers at 15 in Saint Lucia. He brought the craft to Brooklyn, spent seven years at Levels Barbershop, and opened his own shop on Dekalb Avenue in 2009. Today Adrian Fanus Grooming sits on the second floor of 651 Bushwick Avenue, between Myrtle Avenue and Troutman Street: a calm space above the street where you can actually relax.
Every visit starts with a complimentary beverage and a short consultation: how you wear your hair, how fast it grows, what your week looks like. Then we cut for that, so you leave with a shape that grows out clean, not one that only looks right on day one.

Barbershop FAQ
Do you take walk-ins?
We're appointment-based so we can give every guest our full, unhurried attention, but we're happy to take walk-ins whenever availability allows. Booking ahead is the surest way to be seen at the time you'd like.
Can I book a specific barber?
Yes. Choose your barber when you book online, or use the Book button on their bio page.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes. Our Youth Haircut ($45) is for clients 17 and under.
What payment do you accept?
Cash, all major credit cards and Apple Pay. Services are paid for at booking.
Where are you, and where can I park?
651 Bushwick Avenue, 2nd Floor (ring the top bell), Brooklyn, NY 11221. The closest train is the Myrtle–Broadway stop on the J and M lines, and there's free street parking in front of the salon on Bushwick Avenue from 10am–7pm.
