Ahmir Menendez

The Journey

Ahmir Menendez is the latest groomer to join the Adrian Fanus Grooming team, bringing his Latin style, Cuban roots, and unmistakable creative energy to the salon. His influence can be seen in both his precision cutting style and his love for salsa.

Originally from Cuba, Ahmir began learning the craft at 21 years old. His father first introduced him to cutting hair, while a local barber named Liediel Hernandez taught him the art of the fade. What began as curiosity quickly became a passion.

Ahmir later enrolled in the army, where he continued cutting hair for friends and fellow service members. After completing his service, his father gifted him a professional clipper set—and from that moment, his path in grooming was set.

Versatile across all hair types, Ahmir specializes in straight hair, scissor haircuts, clean fades, and detailed finishing work. He is also quick to let clients know that he is an expert in shaping eyebrows.

Fluent in Spanish and having worked in several Latin American countries, Ahmir brings global influence, passion, and perspective to his craft. His work ethic, humility, and laid-back personality have quickly made him a favorite within the Adrian Fanus Grooming family.

Outside of the salon, Ahmir enjoys spending time with his wife and family, improving his English, fixing and modifying cars, and riding and working on motorcycles.
